Since 2006, thewhitehotel has been showcasing over half a decade of evolution in contemporary Belgian design. The hotel, located in the center of the most cosmopolitan district of Belgium’s capital, has offered around sixty contemporary designers the opportunity to customise both its rooms and the lobby.
After four years of existence, the Belgian Designers Rooms have been shuffled and updated with a mix of existing and new objects, chosen by Pro Materia in close partnership with thewhitehotel, in order to provide the hotel clients with more comfort and conviviality. The hotel does not only host Belgian design objects, it also offers its guests the possibility of bringing some of those pieces home via its webshop.
The objects on show, designed both by emerging and well established Belgian designers, all promote the characteristic sense of quality and originality of Belgian design.

in a spray of sequins and preciosity, with flashes of crystal and magical stuff, the spirit of the designers of on aura tout vu “re-dresses” our daily life, showing us new facets, giving it sparkle, and offering it back to us shiny, precious and rafined..
all of the fashion-wear that they have imagined has employed the same spirit of distortion and fantasia, a desire to play with fabrics, objects, light, colors, so that true and false are always intermingling….and what if the false were true? said the queen as she delved into the looking glass, because in the wonderland only truth can harm beauty.

on aura tout vu aime détourner la mode et le glamour.
les vêtements, accessoires de tous les jours, sacs, lunettes, bijoux….
mais aussi les téléphones mobiles, les souris d’ordinateur,les clefs USB et autres gris-gris de notre quotidien super actif et branché.
à coup de paillettes et de strass, d’éclat de cristal et de matières merveilleuses, l’esprit des designers de on aura tout vu « ré- habillent » notre vie, et nous rend sous de nouvelles facettes sa scintillante préciosité.
toutes les lignes qu’ils imaginent, empruntent cette même veine du détournement et de la fantaisie, cette envie de jouer avec les objets, la lumière, les couleurs, afin de toujours confondre le vrai et le faux….
et si c’est le faux qui était dans le vrai ? se dit la reine en plongeant dans le miroir.
puisqu’au pays merveilleux, il n’y a que la vérité qui blesse la beauté…
